Arc Madison Cortland Awarded Grant Over $17K to Support Recreation Programs

The Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Service has awarded a grant totaling $17,341 to The Arc Madison Cortland to support the agency’s recreation programs. 

The Arc Madison Cortland says the grant funding was utilized to enhance their recreational programs for individuals with disabilities. Some of those recreation programs include the organization’s annual “Holiday Blast” party, a trip to Syracuse Stage to see Cinderella, and sport game outings at the Syracuse Mets and Crunch. Money also went to the purchase of gardening supplies and hosting the end of summer bingo party. 

For the year, the NYSARC Trust Service has awarded almost $2.7 million dollars to The Arc New York Chapters throughout the state.
