ARC Madison/Cortland Awarded Grant Funding For Corporate Guardianship Program

A grant from the Trustee Management Board of the New York State ARC (NYSARC) Trust Services, has been awarded to the ARC of Madison/Cortland. The grant funding, totaling $27,800 will go towards supporting the organization’s Corporate Guardianship program.


“NYSARC administers supplemental needs trusts and pooled trusts that can make dramatic improvements to those living with disabilities by enabling them to maintain eligibility for public benefits programs, such as Medicaid and SSI. NYSARC Trust Services is proud to fulfill its commitment in 2024 to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by awarding a total of $2,697,508 in grants to NYSARC chapters statewide.”

ARC Madison/Cortland said in a release.

The Corporate Guardianship services those with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may not have a legal guardian or advocate. Currently, the program provides support for 5 people and is now ready to assist an additional 3 people as a standby or alternate standby guardian.
