Applications for Cortland County’s Microenterprise Assistance Program are still being accepted, with eligible applicants able to receive a grant up to $35,000.
The County has received funding for a county-wide microenterprise assistance program that is directed to assist small businesses who have five or fewer employees, including the owner. The owner, new hire(s) must have low-to-moderate incomes and funds may be used for equipment, inventory, working capital, and other uses.
Funding for the Microenterprise Program is provided under the Community Development Block Grant Program and is then administered by the NYS Office of Community Renewal. Those interested in applying for the grant or would like to learn more may visit Cortland County’s page online. The link may be found HERE.
