Appeals Court Affirms Rape Conviction of Cortland County Man

Cortland County District Attorney Patrick Pefetti’s Office has announced a five-judge panel of the New York State Supreme Court has upheld Kenneth W. Little’s conviction in the Appellate Division in Albany back on Thursday, September 19th.

Back in May of 2021, Little entered a guilty plea of Rape in the 3rd Degree and was sentenced the following month to the maximum sentence of 4 years in State Prison. He will also have 15 years post release supervision. A hearing regarding Little’s risk level on the Sex Offender Registration will take place early next month.

“The successful conviction in this matter was brought about as a result of a thorough investigation by the New York State Police, headed by now Lt. C. Gilbert working in conjunction with my veteran Special Victims Prosecutor, Chief Assistant District Attorney (CADA), Jessica Weyant;” said D.A. Perfetti.
