There is another unplanned service disruption at Cortland Transit, which also curtailed service on several routes last week, according to Cortland County Public Information Officer Savannah Hempstead.
The bus company still doesn’t have enough drivers to run all of the routes promised in their agreement with the county.
The reduction of services was extended to this Wednesday, February 9.
Routes 2, 5, 6 and 7 will be shut down. That eliminates service to Luker Road doctor’s offices, southern towns of McGraw, Solon, Cincinnatus, Willet and Marathon, as well as routes to TC3 and to Cornell.
The county says full operations will resume on Thursday, February 10 and suggests customers call Cortland Transit with any questions.
Routes Suspended:
Route 2 – Downtown Cortland, Friendship House, Luker Road, South Cortland
Route 5 – Southern Cortland County Towns including McGraw, Solon, Cincinnatus, Willet and Marathon
Route 6 – Downtown Cortland to Tompkins Cortland Community College and Dryden
Route 7 – Dryden, Cornell
