University Police at SUNY Cortland have reported another rape has taken place on campus back on September 10th. SUNY Police say the rape occurred inside a residence hall within the campus with the suspect known to the victim.
This is now the fourth reported rape on the SUNY Cortland campus. Earlier this month, University Police gave notice of three rapes that had occurred between August 29th and September 3rd, all of which also occurred inside a residence hall.
On September 4th, there was also a reported forcible touching incident. University Police says there are resources available at the school for anyone who may have been sexually assaulted which may be found HERE.
