Annual St. Baldrick’s Event Coming Up – Donations Being Accepted

The Red Jug Pub on Central Ave. in Cortland will host their annual St. Baldrick’s event on Saturday, March 14 at noon. The event brings together people to shave their heads and beards in solidarity with cancer patients and also raise money for pediatric cancer research.

According to St. Baldrick’s, the Red Jug has raised just under $10,000 for this year’s event. This year’s goal is $20,000. 2026 will also mark the 25th year of St. Baldrick’s volunteers work to conquer kids’ cancer. The annual fundraiser is organized by Red Jug Pub owner, Tom Terwillige, who will now be in his 13th year hosting the event.
