Annual Nightingale Benefit Concert Moves to Greek Peak
This year’s Nightingale Benefit Concert hosted by the Cortland Memorial Foundation will move from the Center for the Arts of Homer to The Lookout at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. The annual event pays tribute to the nursing profession.
This year’s Nightingale Benefit Concert is scheduled for Friday, May 8, it takes place during National Nurses Week, and celebrates the birthday of Florence Nightingale while raising funds to support the mission of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.
Organizers say following feedback from previous attendees, the 2026 concert emphasizes celebration and movement. Ithaca’s Fall Creek Brass Band will headline the evening with a high-energy performance designed to encourage guest dancing.
The event will also include the presentation of the fourth annual Nightingale Award to a Guthrie nurse who is selected through a peer nomination process. Retired nurses will also receive a special recognition during the program and be entered into a dedicated prize drawing.
Tickets are $50 per person. Registration and sponsorship information may be obtained online at Guthrie.org/NightingaleConcert.
