More than $44,500 was raised at the 17th Annual Cortland Memorial Foundation (CMF) Golf Classic, which provides yearly support to the Cortland hospital for equipment and various programs.
The event was held last Monday (August 10) at the Cortland Country Club and also helps fund projects like the new Guthrie Cortland Cancer Center that’s set to break ground next month.
Since the first CMF Golf Classic in 2004, the event has raised over $1.2M in support of hospital programs and initiatives.
“We are extremely pleased with the success of this event,” said Debbie Nadolski, CMF Executive Director. “Donations like these and support from our medical center partners, enable us to provide the best care possible for our patients.”

Special precautions were taken during this year’s event to protect the health and safety of participants due to COVID-19.
All CDC and state guidelines, including wearing masks, social distancing and handwashing were followed.
