700 students graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College Thursday evening during.
It was the school’s 47th commencement ceremony.
Justine Lewis, ’08, was the student speaker at her TC3 commencement and told students she remembers “all the feels,” the emotions that were going through her head.
“My brain started saying to me things like; Oh no, your mom still does your taxes, and you have no clue what escrow means at all, and you don’t know how to change a tire, what are you gonna do for a job?”
Lewis reassured the Class of 2016 to make sure they show up in their life, and that will be a good start.
