Agreement Between City and Teamsters Postponed Until March
A collective bargaining agreement between the City of Cortland and the Teamsters Local 317, who represent employees of the wastewater treatment facility, has again been postponed. The postponement followed about a 50 minute long executive session the Common Council had during their Tuesday meeting. No reason was provided for the postponement of the agreement.
The Common Council is now expected to take action on the agreement during their March 3 meeting, according to Deputy Mayor Troy Beckwith. No reason was provided by the council as to why the agreement was postponed to March.
The collective bargaining agreement was previously delayed during the Common Council meeting back on January 20.
