Additional Charges And Arrests Made in Kidnapping and Murder of Thomas Rath


The New York State Police have announced an additional arrest and charges in regards to the kidnapping and murder of 33 year old Thomas Rath of Ithaca.

A Grand Jury in Tioga County was convened back on September 20th and concluded on September 22nd with additional indictments to Tioga County Court.

As a result, 39 year old Kysha S. Radcliff of Lansing has been arrested and charged with Kidnapping in the 1st, a Felony; 37 year old Joseph M. Howell of Newfield with Murder in the 1st, Murder in the 2nd, Kidnapping in the 1st, and 3 counts of Intimidating a Witness, all Felonies.

Additional charges were also issued to 31 year old Colleen E. Dillon of Newfield with Murder in the 1st, and Murder in the 2nd, both Felonies. Dillon was already charged with Kidnapping in the 1st, also a Felony.

In October, the Tioga Grand Jury also forwarded the indictments to county court of 31 year old Jonathan Glennon of Ithaca with Murder in the 1st, and Kidnapping in the 1st, both Felonies. Glennon was already facing a charge of Murder in the 2nd from the investigation.

State Police say additional indictments are pending and the investigation continues. Back in late August, State Police along with officials from Tompkins and Tioga announced the arrest of 10 suspects in the case.
