WXHC recently spoke with Dryden Town Supervisor and Ithaca-based attorney Jason Leifer, who is one of seven Democratic candidates vying to succeed the retiring Barbara Lifton in District 125.
Leifer was first elected to the Town Board in 2008 then elected supervisor in 2016, during which time his highlights have been helping bring municipal-owned internet to Dryden and advocating for the banning of fracking.
Among other topics discussed were the recent Black Lives Matters protests and associated judicial reforms, rural broadband expansion, the NY Health Act and other issues of importance in the race.
