The Board of Directors for Access To Independence of Cortland County welcomed Aaron Baier as the Agency’s Executive Director yesterday (October 23) and his first day on the job is today.
Baier has been employed with Access To Independence for 12 years and continues to bring his experience in independent living and advocacy.
He said the following upon acceptance of the position, which was printed in an official press release from ATI:
“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and for the support of Board and staff. I am also excited to work more closely with community partners and to build new relationships. I believe collectively as a community, we will empower people with disabilities to lead independent lives.”
Baier will now lead all agency operations and work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure high quality services.
He will also serve as the main contact, spokesperson and representative for Access To Independence.
