Voters in the Homer School District approved a $24-million Capital Project by a 257-18 margin.
The district can now begin work on a long list of improvements such as safety and security, windows, boilers, restrooms, roofs, parking lots, fire alarms accessibility and redesign of bus and parent drop off loops.
Cortland School District residents voted down a proposal to sell the former Virgil Elementary School to a developer. The was 269 against to 228 in favor. Results will be made official at the next Board of Education meeting in January.
