Cortland Man Accused of Using Stolen Credit Card

A Cortland man is accused of using a stolen credit card at a local gas station.

22-year-old Christopher Simons of 76 Central Ave. was arrested Tuesday and charged with a felony count of grand larceny and a felony charge of possessing stolen property.

Cortland Police say Simons used the stolen card at the A-Plus Gas Station on Port Watson Street to make less than $100 dollars worth of purchases.

Simons was arraigned on the charges and sent to the county jail on $1 thousand dollars cash or $2500 bond; He’s due back in court today.
