A Groton man with a history of DWI convictions has been sentenced to six months in jail and 5 years of probation after admitting to driving drunk again.
55-year-old Michael Klimaszewski of 771 Clark St., Groton has been arrested 8 times for DWI.
In June, he has pleaded guilty to a felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation and a misdemeanor charge of DWI following a traffic stop in Cortland last April.
In exchange for the plea, Klimaszewski was given six months in jail. He has already served the sentence.
He must also complete five years of probation, install an ignition interlock device on his vehicle, pay over $1400 in fines and fees and will lose his license for a year.
