Local News

Members of both the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and City of Cortland Police Department yesterday (December 9) evening served a narcotics warrant at a residence on Delaware Avenue in the Town of Cortlandville.

Authorities responded just before 6 p.m. and arrived to find several people inside, with all but one showing different addresses.

They searched the residence and located assorted prescription medications, along with a small amount of marijuana, an undisclosed amount of US Currency and various paraphernalia “which included items used for possessing and the selling of narcotics/drugs,” according to Lt. No ID’s have been released at this point, as charges are pending and the investigation is continuing.
