Police Search for Suspects in Armed Robbery on Ithaca College Campus

Authorities in Ithaca are investigating a reported armed robbery that took place yesterday (December 5) afternoon on the Ithaca College campus at the Terrace 3 residence hall.

According to reports, two suspects threatened the victims with a taser device and a folding knife to rob them of personal property, before fleeing in the direction of the Circle Apartments. Nobody was physically injured in the incident.

One suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s, around 5’10” to 5’11” with a cross tattoo on his right arm and last seen wearing green Uggs and black or gray jeans.

The other is described as a black male last seen in a red hoodie and red sweatpants with a black beanie, with no further physical description provided.

Officials say this appears to be a targeted incident and not random.

They don’t believe there to be any ongoing threat to the campus community at this time, however anyone who sees anything suspicious or has mote information on this incident should contact Ithaca police.
