Cortland Chamber to Host Worldwide 2020 Leadership Live Conference

Local News

The world’s largest one-day leadership event is coming to town, as the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce is set to host the 2020 Leadercast Live Conference.

Each year, the event brings together nearly 100,000 attendees living in the Atlanta-area, along with viewers in various simulcast locations around the world.

Nine leadership experts will take to one stage to teach the art and science of “Positive Disruption.”

The Cortland Chamber-hosted live stream will be the only location in New York to view the conference, which will be held at the Homer Center for the Arts on May 7, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with breakfast and lunch included.

Each year, Leadercast Live dives into leadership issues relevant to today’s leaders to provide solutions and inspiration to help attendees around the globe be better leaders. 2020’s theme, Positive Disruption, builds on the overall mission of the event: to fill the world with leaders worth following.

Disturbance. Disorder. Disarrangement. Many people think these are negatives in the workplace, but Leadercast Live 2020 will show how disruption is the best way to make positive, lasting changes in your organization and beyond.

“We are excited to be able to offer such a prominent event,” said Debbie Thayer, Director of Events and Marketing for the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce. “We hope to inspire leaders in our businesses and in our area communities that are ‘leaders worth following’.”
