Moravia Man Found Intruding Inside Cortland Home on Church Street

Local News

A Moravia man was arrested early Sunday morning (September 29) after he was found intruding inside a residence on Church Street in Cortland.

City Police got a call from an occupant of the home around 6am, who reported an individual they did not know who was inside their home.

Officers immediately arrived and found 22-year-old Peter Vanorman, of New Hope Road, standing in the living room. They say he smashed a window pane out from a door to get inside.

Vanorman was also found to be in possession of THC vape cartridges.

He was processed and released to appear in city court on October 11.
