LISTEN: Homer Water Superintendent Buzz Barber on Village Water Meter Replacement

On Demand, What We're Talking About

(New water meter set-up)

For last week’s Happening in Homer (September 19), Vinnie Bellardini visited the Newton Water Works on Creal Road and spoke with Water Superintendent Lawrence “Buzz” Barber about the new water meter replacement project.

Part of a combined grant program with the Town of Cortlandville, the Village of Homer is in phase three of replacing the old residential water meters with new digital devices, which are more accurate, save money and make it easier to troubleshoot issues.

Village residents should be on the lookout for a letter from the village to make a replacement appointment, which is expected to take around 30 minutes.
