Vinnie Bellardini met with SUNY Cortland Officer Steven Rolfe on Friday (August 23), who’s credited with performing life-saving CPR to a man who was having a massive heart attack at the Ithaca Walmart on August 2.

Click here for more details from the original story.

Officer Rolfe was off-duty and working his second job at the store, when he was forced to jump into action and use his years of training to administer CPR to a man having a severe heart attack.

Rolfe’s actions ultimately revived the man until he could be transported and treated at a nearby hospital.

Today, that man is home, recovering well and joking with Rolfe about his “ribs hurting.”
