A resident of Cortland’s Crescent Commons apartments on South Main Street was arrested Thursday (August 15) after he was found in possession of $3K worth of furniture reported stolen from the building’s common areas last month.
Cortland Police say 47-year-old Charles Marshall was using the stolen items to furnish his own apartment. Investigation into a theft reported in mid-July led police to identify and arrest him.
Marshall’s been charged with felony possession of stolen property in the 3rd degree.
He will appear in court on September 8.
