Common Council Highlights: July 2, 2019

Cortland Common Council met last night (July 2) and authorized more of the contracts involved with ongoing projects in the city of Cortland, including the multi-million dollar Gateway Project and the Air Stripper Refurbishment and Water Treatment Project:

  • Cedarwood Engineering for the Gateway Phase 2 project in the amount of $70,000.

 

  • M. Hubbard Construction Inc. for the general construction contract portion of the Air Stripper Refurbishment and Water Treatment Improvement Project in the amount of $2,876,461.

 

  • John Mills Electric for the electrical construction contract of the Air Stripper Refurbishment and Water Treatment Improvement Project in the amount of $494,400.

 

  • C & S Companies for the heating, ventilation and plumbing construction of Air Stripper Refurbishment and Water Treatment Improvement Project in the amount of $379,500,000.

There were also approvals given for the Youth Fire Expo on July 20 and the Brockway Truck Show on August 10.
