Fifty-eight-year-old Sun Yi, of New Jersey, called 911 around 12:30 yesterday afternoon and said she didn’t know where she was. All she could tell was that she was in a muddy area near a creek and could see power lines.

She believed that she entered a trail off Sandbank Road.

Shortly after midnight, troopers on a roving patrol located Sun near the area of Routes 34/96, north of Decker Road.

She was transported to Cayuga Medical Center for treatment and her family was contacted.

State Police were assisted in their search by State Park Police, DEC Forest Rangers, the Ithaca Fire Department and the Tompkins County Search and Rescue.
