Cortland LGBTQ Center Celebrates ’50 Years Of Pride’ On June 18

June is Pride Month, and this month specifically marks the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots that evolved into the current LGBTQ Pride Month as we know it today.

Cortland’s own LGBTQ center kicked off the month by attending the Stone Soup event last weekend, where more than 300 residents came together to celebrate diversity in Cortland County over a nice bowl of soup.

The Center will hold its own ’50 Years of Pride’ event next Tuesday (June 18) night from 5-7 at its residence at 165 Main Street.
