Three people are facing charges after a search warrant execution in Homer on Thursday (February 28) revealed they were manufacturing methamphetamine.
Homer Police say they executed a search warrant at a house on James Street at the request of a NYS Parole officer, who discovered meth-making materials and paraphernalia during a home visit to 54-year-old Jeffrey Janack.
During their search, Police discovered various meth-making materials, paraphernalia and other controlled substances.
Janack along with 33-year-old Kristina Yerian of the same residence and 37-year-old Joshua Pittsley of Groton Ave in
Cortland were all arrested at the scene just after 9 p.m. Thursday.
Homer Officers were assisted by Cortland Police, the Cortland Sheriff’s Office and the State Department of Environmental Police.
Parole officer’s arrested Janack and sent him to jail on a parole violation. An arrest warrant for this incident was
subsequently obtained for him and at this time charges are pending.
Yerian and Pittsley were arrested and arraigned in the Town of Homer Court. They were both remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond and will reappear on March 1.
