Gillibrand Looks At Iowa As POTUS Race Picks Up Speed

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) is picking up the pace in her exploratory campaign for President of the United States in 2020.

She announced details yesterday (February 12) of a planned second visit to Iowa, a key electoral state especially when it comes to the primaries.

Gillibrand said in a release that she will be attending “meet-and-greets” in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City on Monday,¬†Presidents Day (February 18).

There are now seven main Democrats running for the party nomination. At least twice that amount are either officially or unofficially “exploring” a run.
