Two Arrested In Town Of Scott After Narcotics Search

Cortland Sheriff’s arrested two people on Friday, following the execution of a narcotics warrant at a residence on Route 41 in the Town of Scott.

The search ultimately led Police to the discovery of several firearms and rifles inside the residence, along with 2 grams of methamphetamine, materials used to manufacture meth, about 6 ounces of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Arrested at the scene for the methamphetamine and firearm charges was 27-year-old Jentre Bergman.

He was also charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Abby Alexander, 28, was arrested for the marijuana.

The search was the result of an on-going investigation and Sheriffs were assisted by members of both the Cortland and Homer Police Departments.

Their investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible.
