Guthrie Cortland Medical Center Awarded $4.6 Million From State

Governor Cuomo yesterday (February 5) announced more than $200 million in state funding that will support 95 projects within New York’s health care system.

That tally includes more than $4.6 million dollars on its way to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

According to the state report, that money will go towards the hospital’s renovation of its inpatient and emergency department spaces, as well as the expansion and enhancement of its behavioral health services.

It will also be used to purchase vehicles for a mobile crisis stabilization unit.
