Meth Manufacturing Bust In Freeville Leads To Five Arrests

Five people were arrested in Freeville, Cortland County, on Sunday (January 27) after Police found materials used to manufacture methamphetamine and about 300 grams of marijuana at a residence within Congers Mobile Home Park.

State Police at Ithaca say they were following up on a previous investigation at the residence when they located materials and the remnants of materials used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Police then executed a search warrant issued by the Town of Dryden Court and seized in their search various hazardous materials used to make meth and about 300 grams of marijuana.

Arrested for the crimes were 32-year old Antonio Bentley of Ithaca, 46-year old Tanya Leonard, 43-year-old Michelle Davis, 44-year-old William Oliver and 19-year-old Jacob Bennett, all of Freeville.

All 5 subjects were arraigned in the Town of Ithaca Court yesterday (January 28).

Bentley, Bennett and Davis were sent to the Tompkins County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. Leonard and Oliver were released on their own recognizance.
