Village of Homer To Hold Public Hearing on Budget

Local News

The Village of Homer will hold its monthly Board meeting tomorrow night (January 9), which will begin with a public hearing on the proposed Village budget that Mayor Hal McCabe released last week (SEE DETAILS ON THAT BUDGET HERE).

Included in that budget is the allocation of funding from reserve accounts to pay for two new garbage trucks, a new police car and a new fire truck among several other expenditures.

The full preliminary budget as it stands can be found in its entirety at the Village of Homer website.

Tomorrow’s public hearing will begin at 6:00 and will be followed by a full meeting of the Village Board of Trustees.

All of that will be held at Homer Town Hall, 31 North Main Street.
