Farm tractors and other slow-moving vehicles will now be allowed to move a bit faster on public roads here in New York State.
Gov. Cuomo recently signed a law that raises the speed limit for slow-moving vehicles on public roads from 25 mph to 35 mph.
Farm, construction and other slow-moving vehicles must use orange triangular signs while on these roads.
The Governor says farm equipment has made big improvements and allowed for the raised speed limit, which will go into effect in the spring.
