Expired: National Weather Service Has Issued A Winter Storm Warning Until Tomorrow Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect now until Friday, 10am.

Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches expected.

Counties included in this warning are Cortland, Northern Oneida, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga,
Madison, Southern Oneida, Chenango and Otsego Counties.

Snow develops late this afternoon into evening, and persists overnight before diminishing Friday morning.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
