Cortland County Family YMCA Announces New Executive Director

The Cortland YMCA announced the selection of its new Executive Director on Friday (October 26).

Effective November 26, Noah Beck will succeed David Hamilton, who has served the position for 3 years and will retire at the end of November.

Beck currently serves as Aquatics Director and Head Swimming and Diving Coach at Marywood University, a position he has held since 2016. He also has experience in similar positions at SUNY Geneseo.

He grew up in the local Cortland YMCA Community where he as a swimmer on the Stingers’ team and a lifeguard/Head Swimming Coach at our Y.

“The Cortland YMCA and the surrounding community hold very special meaning in my life,” Beck said. “I am thrilled to give back
to the organization that has given me so much.”
