Grace and Holy Spirit Church in downtown Cortland will celebrate the rededication of its newly restored building this Sunday (October 28), after a fire caused over $100,000 in damage back in June 2016.
The church, located at 13 Court Street, is home not only to its Lutheran and Episcopal missions, but also numerous twelve-step programs; The Arts at Grace, a free concert series; and Cortland Loaves & Fishes, a soup kitchen serving meals six days a week.
A special service at 10 a.m. will be led by the Right Rev. Dr. DeDe Duncan-Probe, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York and the Rev. Peter Williams, pastor of Grace & Holy Spirit Church.
