Mayor Hal McCabe Calls On Gov. Cuomo To Help “Revive Rural New York”

Homer Mayor Hal McCabe yesterday (October 18) called on Governor Cuomo to provide a boost to rural communities across Upstate New York with his support of the Rural and Agriculture Jobs Act.

The bill would establish a $100-million fund to develop small businesses that are agricultural in nature or located in rural areas.

The fund would be established through private investment and those who contribute would receive a tax credit.

Mayor McCabe made the announcement yesterday in the video, posted online by the Revive Rural New York organization.
