A man who was considered to be armed and dangerous was arrested in Cortlandville Tuesday night.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says it was asked to help the Chenango County Sheriffs locate 62 year-old Michael Wothe, who was involved in a dispute in the Town of Pitcher where he threatened to use a firearm.
Officers located Wothe on Route 41 in the Town of Cortlandville within an hour of the request for assistance by Chenango County.
He was found to be intoxicated, but not in possession of a weapon at the time of his arrest.
Wothe was arraigned yesterday (October 10) and is currently being held at the Cortland County Jail until he’s turned over to the Chenango County Sheriff’s to answer charges from the Town of Pitcher Court.
