A recent Siena College Poll of likely Democratic voters shows Gov. Cuomo increasing his lead over his opponent, Cynthia Nixon, in the upcoming primary for governor.
Cuomo now polls 41 points above Nixon in a 63-22 percent ratio, an increased margin from 60-29 percent at the end of July.
Despite this gap, the race for the Democratic nominee for Attorney General appears wide open.
Representative Sean Patrick Maloney has the support of 25 percent of likely Democrats, while New York City Public Advocate Letitia James has 24 percent and candidate Zephyr Teachout has 18 percent.
New York’s primary elections take place this Thursday, September 13th.
