Cortland One Of 19 Counties To Receive State Funds To Combat Opioid Crisis

Gov. Cuomo announced yesterday more than $25 million in federal funding to address the opioid crisis in New York State.

Cortland is one of 19 additional counties that will now receive state targeted response funds to support expansion of addiction prevention, treatment and recovery services.

Cortland will share more than $15 million with the 18 other counties added, which will be used to increase access to treatment through initiatives that include expanded mobile treatment, telepractice and peer services.
