Gas prices are down by pennies across the area, according to AAA.
This has been due to a slight decrease in demand in the region, but with Labor Day quickly approaching, we could see prices go back up again soon.
The New York State average is now at $3.00.
In Cortland, it’s going for as low as 2.83 at the Quik Fills (Rte 13 and Homer Ave) and Citgo (Tompkins St) and as high as 2.95 at the Mobil on Clinton.
