Four people were arrested on drug charges yesterday after a traffic stop in Cortland that took place on Groton Avenue at around 10AM.
Cortland Police initially pulled the vehicle over because it was being driven on a flat tire, but later searched it and found narcotics including oxycodone, bath salts and marijuana.
They also found several scales in the car.
28-year old Cortland resident Philicia Twomey was driving the vehicle. In addition to her drug charges, she was also charged with aggravated driving without a license.
Her passengers included 34-year-old Kimberly Cummins and 41-year-old Christian Loveless, both Cortland residents, and 41-year-old Richard Stevens of Homer.
Each of the involved were charged with several crimes, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
All four were brought to Cortland County Jail. Stevens bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. Twomey, Cummins and Loveless were not given bail.
