Cops On Top Event Raises Over 4K Locally; Regionally Raises More Than 80K

The results from the Cops on Top Event are in.

The fundraiser took place last Friday at select Dunkin Donuts with area police agencies to raise money for the Special Olympics.

Central New York and the Southern Tier raised over $80,000. That’s $12,000 more than what was raised last year.

Locally, the Homer Police Department, at the Homer Express Mart/Dunkin Donuts raised almost $1,500, in McGraw at the Polkville Dunkin Donuts, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department with help from the Cortlandville Fire Department, raised just over $1,400, and in Cortland at Express Mart’s, the Cortland City Police Department raised over $1,600.

Officers would like to thank everyone for their donations for a notable charity, the Special Olympics.
