Cortland City Police tell us a vehicle was stopped on West Court Street last evening (July 10th) around 6pm for not signaling during a turn.
Police investigated and found that James Glover, 24, of Cortland was in possession of a loaded .22 caliber handgun and a small quantity of bath salts.
He was arrested, and charged with criminal possession of a loaded weapon for a previous conviction, and possession of a controlled substance.
Glover is being held for arraignment in the Cortland City Court.
Yesterday, (July 10th) Cortland City Police also announced the arrest of Benjamin Marcus, 24, of Cortland.
He was charged with falsifying business records and Petit Larceny.
The Press Release explains that Marcus falsified records at his employer to cover up a larceny of money he committed at the Mobile Express Mart/Dunkin Donuts on 154 Clinton Ave.
Marcus was released, and is set to appear on Cortland City Court on August 1st.
