State Police Arrest Five In Three Separate Incidents

Keisha Nelson, 21, and Ryan Manwaring, 33, both of Cortlandville, were arrested by State Police over the weekend, after troopers were called to an address on Kingsley Avenue in that town.

Both were ticketed for Acting in a Manner to Injure a Child under age 17, in an incident reported at about 8:30 am Saturday morning.

Thursday evening, State Police arrested a 48-year old woman from Cortland for unlicensed operation and possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers spotted an equipment violation on the vehicle operated by Debra VanDusen on 81 in Lisle.

During the traffic stop, troopers learned of her suspended license and spotted what appeared to be methamphetamine.

VanDusen was arrested, arraigned, and sent to the Broome County Jail on a thousand dollars cash bail, according to state police.


Nancy Hoy, 48, and Andrew Crumb, 41, both of Marathon, were arrested by State Police Friday night during a traffic stop on 81 in the Town of Onondaga.

Troopers charged both with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and ticketed Crumb for Unlicensed Operation and Driving While Impaired by Drugs.
