Police Persuade Woman To Leave Home With Trespassing Ticket

Cortland Police report that a woman from Lansing wouldn’t go.

She wouldn’t leave a home on Winter Street in Cortland, so officers stepped in.

Victoria Rigg, 32, was ticketed for trespassing.

This was Tuesday during the noon hour.

Rigg will be invited to come back, she has a City Court appearance on June 29.


Cortland Police encountered Rigg a bit later Tuesday, when she was stopped on Main Street, along with Katie Pittsley, 33, of Cincinnatus.

Pittsley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Meth and a needle, according to police.

A Cortland City Court date for Pittsley is scheduled June 29.
