From Cortland Police: Woman Arrested Following Argument With Teen

Lauren Kenyon, 19. of Georgetown, was arrested by Cortland Police Thursday at about 3:15 pm for Petit Larceny.

According to police, Kenyon stole $75 worth of food items from the Cortland P&C Fresh Food Store.

Police say she was released, to appear in Cortland City Court on June 15.


Mindy Cole, 38, of Cortland arrested by Cortland Police just after 4 pm on Thursday.

Police charged Cole with Harassment and Endangering the Welfare of a Child after Cole argued with a fourteen-year-old female at a home on Greenbush Street and pushed her.

Cole was released pending her next Cortland City Court date of June 20.


Cortland Police say a man from Syracuse went to the home of a woman in Cortland who had an order of protection against him.

Jody Minor, 36, was arrested just before midnight on Wednesday about 12 hours after that visit.

Police obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Criminal Contempt.

Minor was sent to the Cortland County Jail awaiting $500 cash bail and a court appearance set for Friday (today).
