Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two county residents on Tuesday, during a traffic stop prompted by an expired inspection sticker.
Adam Rowe, 29, of Taylor, and Brooke Campbell, 25, of Virgil, also both had warrants for their arrest, according to police.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Stacy Billings reports the warrants were for the theft of two chainsaws from a pickup truck in Cortlandville.
Rowe and Campbell both face charges of Grand Larceny and Conspiracy.
