Cortland Police Arrest A Man From Montana, And Two From Cortland

Cortland Police say a man from Montana from was driving on Clayton Avenue without headlights when officers stopped him at about 2:30 am yesterday.

According to information provided by Lt. Rick Troyer, Isaac Johnson, 30, of Bozeman, was found to be intoxicated and ticketed for DWI and no headlights.

Police say he was released until his next date in Cortland City Court.

Cortland Police report that David Thompson, 27, of Cortland, was arrested Wednesday night at about 11.

Officers say he ordered a couple of drinks at Woodman’s Pub and refused to pay for them.

Thompson was ticketed for Theft of Services and released.

Police say Thompson is to appear June 1 in Cortland City Court.


Zachary Dains, 31, of Cortland, was arrested at about 8 Wednesday night.

Cortland Police were called to the Food Bag on Tompkins Street.

Police say Dains was unable to hold a conversation, was shaking uncontrollably, sweating, and had some methamphetamine on him.

He was ticketed and released until City Court June 8.
